Mary See the Future was formed in 2007 and have released 2 albums and 4 extended plays. The album“Yes, I Am“ earned the band a Golden Melody Award nomination and a Golden Indie Music Awards nomination for Best Rock Album. Their music is influenced by 90s grunge through to 90s brit-pop music, and a lot of good Chinese pop music. Their music combines the energy of British rock with the complex sound structures of classical music, aiming at pushing Mandarin pop rock scene to another level. Mary See the Future believe in translating their emotions into every single note they play. The capital city, Taipei, where they all moved to in their later youth, is just like any other big city －it mixes hope and desperation, love and hatred, and liberty and compulsion － all the extremities are mingled together. It’s always been their desire to sing out the happiness and the struggle of everyone of us, enabling you to see through their eyes.
