1998 Trustee, Shaw College, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor, Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. Member of the Institute Committee, China Academy of Art. Receive honorary doctorates in Philosophy and Education at Kennedy-Western University, United States.
1999 Work Morning Charm received silver award at the National Arts Exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Culture, was collected by the Macao Museum of Art.
2000 Sponsored a project to harness the Yellow River commissioned by the Agricultural Development Fund for Asia and the Chinese Communist Youth League.
2001 Chief Representative, the Environment Protection Committee of the Himalayas in Hong Kong. Advisor of the Global Foundation of Distinguished Chinese.
2004 Deputy Secretary-General, UN Global Compact Centre in China. Work Poppies in Blossom received bronze award at the 1st International Chinese Arts and Poems Exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Culture.
