 As the 23rd Macao International Music Festival approaches its final days, all eyes turn to Mount Fortress. Tonight (Friday, October 30, 8pm), the turbulent Portuguese group Buraka Som Sistema goes on stage with the promise of presenting the most energetic concert of this year’s edition of the Music Festival.

 The 23rd edition of the Macao International Music Festival (MIMF) commemorates the 60th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and the 10th Anniversary of Macao’s Handover with pomp and circumstance. For the Festival’s Gala Concert, on 9 October, at 8pm, at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium, the Macao Orchestra has the honour of joining musicians that have made history with two of the most representative symphonic works of China.
