Wong is the director of Centre for Teaching and Learning Enhancement and Associate Professor of English at the University of Macau. Her research interests include music in English Renaissance drama, Shakespearean theatre, and life narratives. She is the author of Music and Gender in English Renaissance Drama (Routledge) as well as articles in top-tiered journals such as Adaptation and Early Theatre, and co-editor of Macao – Cultural Interaction and Literary Representations (Routledge). She also edited the English edition of Dai Ding Cheng's Catholic Music in Macao in the Twentieth Century: Music Writers and their Works in a Unique Historical Context (Cultural Affairs Bureau). Wong is currently working on two book chapters on gender and music in Shakespeare as well as Shakespeare in Asia, to be published by Oxford University Press. Wong is also an operatic soprano and currently conductor of Coro Perosi.
Remarks
- Online and telephone registrations for the Outreach Programmes will be opened from 6th August at 9 a.m. till the day before the respective activity dates except for those events with a specific deadline for applications stated.
- The organizer reserves the right to alter activities and instructors.
- Most of the activities are free admission except for those with a fee is expressly set. Registration is required.
- Due to limited availability, participants who are absent without notice will be put on waiting list for the Outreach Programme activities of the next edition of the Macao International Music Festival.
- Activities will be photographed or videotaped by IC staff for archival or evaluation purposes. Some of the photographs may be used for promotion of similar activities without consent from the participants in advance.
- In case of a discrepancy between the Portuguese/English versions of the Outreach Programme with the Chinese version, the Chinese version shall prevail.
