Leon Chu

Leon Chu is the music director and conductor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chorus, and a choral teacher and percussion tutor of several secondary and primary schools. He was the choral director of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, the Medart Orchestra and the Siam Philharmonic. He was the workshop director for the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) and the Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble.

Chu has been writing since he was a student for different magazines including Hong Kong Economic Journal, Economic Daily News, Ming Pao, Hi-Fi Review, C for Culture, A.M.Post, Art Plus, Muzik Magazine, and publications by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra.
