China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Gala Performance

Artists from eight Portuguese-speaking countries and from Gansu Province gather to present an enthralling cultural and arts performance to the public.

Artists from Gansu Province present a lively and festive folk performance of classified intangible heritage from Northwest China. In turn, Portuguese musicians bring echoes of an ancient Portugal, while musicians from Angola and Cape Verde use their music to take the audience on a journey to the vast African lands. The different but equally magnificent traditional dances from Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, East Timor, as well as the charm of contemporary Latin of singers from São Tomé and Príncipe and Brazil will be staged in Macao this summer.
