Biographical Note

        A former Guest Professor at the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, Wong Kin I is now a full-time artist in Zhejiang Art Academy, Executive Director of Lu Yanshao Art Research Association, Director of the World Cultural and Artistic Exchange Association, Member of the Macao Fine Arts Association and Director of the Department of Academic Affairs in the Macao Institute of Calligraphy and Painting.

        In 1990, he was included in the Worldwide Chinese Literature and Artist Blue Book while in 1999 his biography and works were compiled in Contemporary Chinese Fine Artists, Shanghai Sanlian Publisher.

        His works are held in the collections of the Cultural Institute of the Macao SAR Government, Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Sheraton International, private enterprises from Japan, Singapore, Belgium and America, and private collections. In 1996, Sothebys auctioned some of his work.

1944 Born in Shanghai, China.
 
1962 Graduated from the complementary course at the Shanghai College of ‘ Fine Arts.
 
1969 Graduated from Chinese Painting Course at the Shanghai Drama Academy.
 
1981 Obtained a Master’s Degree in Chinese painting at the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts. Studied under Professor Lu Yanshao.
