Tickets for the acrobatic show Mulan are on sale

The “Performance to Celebrate the 68th Anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China”, jointly organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Department of Culture and Education of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R., in cooperation with the Sports Bureau, specially features the spectacular acrobatic show Mulan performed by the Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe Co. Ltd. this year, allowing residents to enjoy Chinese traditional performing arts and to celebrate the National Day. The show will be held on 30 September and 1 October, at 8pm, at the Macao Forum. Tickets are now available at the Macau Ticketing Network.

The Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe will re-enact the well-known story of the young girl Hua Mulan featuring superb acrobatic acts, and bringing new vigour to traditional performing arts by fusing acrobatics with other distinctive Chinese art forms such as acrobatics, dance, Chinese martial arts, shadow play and face-changing (Bian Lian). The acrobatic show Mulan highlights female warrior Hua Mulan’s devotion to her father, a sense of responsibility to protect the home country and the daring character of the heroine. It also shows the performers’ difficult and stunning acrobatic skills, staging monumental warring scenes, bringing a new experience and visual shock for the audience.

Tickets for the acrobatic show Mulan are priced at MOP200 (Zone A) and MOP100 (Zone B), and no seating is assigned. Ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of four tickets per person, with various discount packages available. Holders of valid Macao Resident Identity Card will be offered 50% discount for purchases on or before 26 September; holders of a valid Student Card, Teacher Card, Macao Senior Citizen Card or Disability Assessment Registration Card will also be offered a 50% discount during the entire sale period for any purchases at the outlets or online ( Ticketing hotline: 2855 5555.
