Hosted by the Council of the Conference on Cooperative Development and Sharing of Chinese Resources (CCDSCR), organized by the Department of Public Library Management of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government and co-organized by the Macau Library and Information Management Association, the “11th Conference on Cooperative Development and Sharing of Chinese Resources” will be held from 25 to 27 October at The Grand Ballroom of MGM Macau. The CCDSCR is an international cooperation conference aiming at connecting all libraries or information institutions worldwide that hold Chinese documents and at improving the cooperation between them.
Themed “Post-digital Era – the Cooperation, Utilization and Promotion of Chinese Resources”, this year’s Conference aims to introduce further works of digitization between libraries or information institutions, including resources sharing and cooperation, resources use, promotion and technology, among others, in order to deepen mutual understanding and the development of the organization and use of resources.
Participants from different countries and regions such as Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany, United States and the United Kingdom were invited to attend the Conference, as well as local professionals. The conference will be conducted in Mandarin and English, with simultaneous interpretation between Mandarin and English. Library and news agencies professionals from Macao and overseas, university students of library science and information technology from Macao and overseas or all other interested parties are welcome to register.
