Albergue of the Macau Holy House of Mercy
The series of concerts is aimed at filling the city with the beautiful sound of the Macao Chinese Orchestra.
The philosophy behind these concerts is to share music with the general public and bring traditional Chinese music to every corner of Macao, and caring for and giving back to the communities as well as spreading the message of beauty and love by means of music. The Macao Chinese Orchestra will give performance in different communities and neighborhoods, libraries, hospitals, prisons, charity homes and activity centers. By presenting well-known traditional works and appealing contemporary pieces, the Orchestra hopes to let the general public easily access Chinese music, enjoy it and feel its beauty at close quarters.
