National First Class Conductor Liu Ju, together with two leading musicians in Chinese and Western music and The Macao Chinese Orchestra, will offer the audience a wonderful musical feast. 

Born into a family of musicians, Liu Ju is adept at symphony, opera, ballet and traditional Chinese orchestral works. Xie Nan, an internationally renowned violinist, has won countless acclaim for her performance of Violin Concerto The Butterfly Lovers both at home and abroad. Su Chang, a celebrated young guzheng player, is the premiere performer and authoritative interpreter of Guzheng Concerto Ru Shi. In this concert, they will melt the hearts of the audience with these masterpieces.

The Macao Chinese Orchestra will perform Wang Chenwei's The Sisters' Islands, which is a piece of Nanyang-inspired Chinese music combining the unique timbre of Chinese instruments with Indonesian gamelan, Middle Eastern music and Malaysian dance music. All in all, a musical feast with a varied repertoire not to be missed!
