Cellist Li-Wei Qin has become one of the most sought-after artists in the international music scene after winning the Silver Medal at the 11th Tchaikovsky International Competition. “Mr. Qin has a meltingly beautiful tone, flawless centered intonation and an ironclad technique” This is how The New York Times described the cellist. Qin’s interpretation of the Saint-Saëns “Cello Concerto No. 1” fully presents the piece’s vibrant music style. As 2021 marks the 180th anniversary of Dvořák, OM will perform the “Symphony No. 7” by this great composer, which is solemn and sublime, yet with the cheerful melodious rhythm of elated Slavic dances. All in all, a symphonic feast both serious and lighthearted.

Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, including one interval
