One of Lithuania’s leading organists, Beata Andriuškevičienė has been with the Kaunas State Choir since 1996. Along with her activity in the Choir, she regularly takes part in chamber music programmes with prominent soloists from Lithuania and other countries. She participated in several festivals, in her home country and abroad, and teaches in the Piano Department of the Music Academy of Vytautas Magnus University.

Built by the prominent Canadian organ makers Casavant Frères, who began organ-building in 1879, the new organ at St. Lazarus Church is one of a kind, tailor-made to the space’s conditions and constraints. Nearly one hundred artisans worked on what is now the largest musical instrument in Macao.

Don’t miss the first concert with pipe organ ever to be presented in the MIMF!
