Haitian-American Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) continues to establish himself as one of today’s most relevant artists on the contemporary classical music scene. An innovative violinist, composer, performer, re-mixer and band leader, DBR has won world-wide acclaim for his fearless musical exploration, whether through extended violin techniques, the infusion of electronics or in his perspectives on the definition of chamber music. Having collaborated and performed with countless famous musical artists, from composer Philip Glass to popsinger Lady Gaga, his career seems unstoppable. On 30th October, in what promises to be a wild concert, DBR and members of his touring ensemble, DBR & THE MISSION, will perform tracks from his newest release, Woodbox Beats & Balladry , which brilliantly echoes DBR’s eclecticism, fusing elements of classical minimalism, dance club beats, traditional ballads and thick distorted noise. Haunting music from the most “omnivorous” (New York Times) artist around!

“…Daniel Bernard Roumain is creating a miracle…”
