Since its foundation in Warsaw in 1995, the Szymanowski Quartet has developed into a truly charismatic string quartet and one of the most remarkable of its generation. Many awards at well-known competitions, such as the first prize at the Premio Vittorio Gui Competition in Florence and the In Memoriam Dimitri Schostakowitsch in Hanover, confirmed the extraordinarily high standard of the ensemble. Superb technical control, innate musicality and an extraordinary sense of ensemble!

“Music played on fingertips. (...) The four young polish players (...) give a phenomenally detailed performance with a sharp intellectual cut. (...) There is not much left to improve. In the presently very impressive league of highly talented young string quartets the "Szymanowskis" definitely rank among the best”
Hans-Günter Fischer in Mannheimer Morgen
