The renowned Shanghai Puppet Troupe was set up in 1960 and now has more than 120 members. Over the last 50 years, the troupe has performed over 150 different shows in China and abroad using a variety of puppetry techniques - shadow, glove, and marionettes - depending on the plot. Renowned for its creativity and innovation, the troupe’s performance will include different styles that are amusing yet graceful and subtle.
