Guided Tour Services for the Exhibition “A Century of Posters” and the Macao Annual Visual Arts Exhibition 2014

The Exhibition “A Century of Posters”organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. Government (IC) is now on show at the Tap Seac Gallery. The display features a total of 80 rare posters spanning c. 100 years, from the 1880s to the 1990s. IC offers free guided tour services as well as audio descriptions for visually impaired persons. The guided tours available to the general public and to groups are carried out by professional docents who will introduce these prized posters.

Guided tours for the general public are available every Saturday and Sunday between 26 July and 24 August, 2014, at 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm, in three languages (Cantonese, Mandarin and English).

Guided tours for groups, subject to reservation, are available every Sunday from 27 July to 24 August, 2014, between 10am and 1pm. Each session lasts around one hour. Schools and associations are welcome to make reservations. The tours can be conducted in Cantonese, Mandarin or English according to request, but are limited to a maximum of 25 participants.

In a special initiative aiming at sharing with every citizen the joy of appreciating the visual arts the Tap Seac Gallery also offers audio descriptions for the visually impaired with the duration of 1 hour (2, 9 and 10 August at 2pm).

IC also provides 1-hour audio descriptions for the Macao Annual Visual Arts Exhibition 2014 – Western Media Category held at the Old Court Building (26, 27 July and 3August, at 3pm).
