Western instruments Solo - Violin, Viola, Violoncello, Double Bass, Classical Guitar, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba and Percussion.
Chinese instruments Solo - Dizi, Sheng, Suona, Guan, Xun, Xiao, Hulusi, Bawu, Guzheng, Yangqin, Liuqin, Pipa, Ruan, Guqin, Erhu and Gaohu

Eligibility of Competitors:
Chinese and Western Instruments - All Macao residents who were born in or after 1989, and hold a valid Macao Resident ID card.
Vocal Music - All Macao residents who were born in or after 1982, and hold a valid Macao Resident ID card.
Eligibility of Accompanists: All Macao residents who hold a valid Macao Resident ID card (no age limit).
1. Competitors must submit the completed registration form, along with all supporting documents, in person or via a representative, to the registration venue specified above;
2. The Competition Rules and forms are available on the website of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, accessible at www.icm.gov.mo/cjmm;
3. Interested parties can consult the musical scores of the compulsory pieces at the Cultural Affairs Bureau (Praça do Tap Seac, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. including lunch hour, Monday to Friday) or at the Macao Central Library (Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida, No 89 A-B, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday);
4. Form A is for Solo categories; Forms B1 and B2 are for Chamber Music, Ensemble, and Vocal Ensemble categories; Form C is the group registration list and Form D for request of change of information. Please note the following:
4.1 For competitors in Solo categories:
4.1.1 Submit Form A;
4.1.2 Registration fee is MOP50 for each category;
4.1.3 Submit a copy of competitor’s ID card (one for each category);
4.1.4 Provide a photocopy of the free choice piece (if required in the competition category), clearly marked with the competitor’s full name and competition category. (No need to submit photocopy of compulsory pieces);
4.2 For competitors in Chamber Music, Ensemble, and Vocal Ensemble categories:
4.2.1 Submit Forms B1 and B2;
4.2.2 Registration fee is MOP50 for each category;
4.2.3 Submit a copy of each member’s ID card;
4.2.4 Provide a photocopy of the free choice piece (if required in the competition category), clearly marked with the competitor’s full name and competition category. (No need to submit photocopy of compulsory pieces);
4.2.5 Fill in the number and type of instruments to be used by the members and accompanist in the competition;
4.2.6 Provide the name of the team representative on the form. If the team wins cash awards, the team representative will receive it on behalf of the team. In case s/he is unable to receive, a written authorization should be made for another person to collect the money;
4.3 To save time during the registration process, competitors may opt to submit their registration forms as a group. Competitors who choose this option must submit the Form C together with their registration forms and other required documents;
4.4 Competitors need not submit personal information about their accompanist(s) at the time of registration. However, on the day of the competition, the accompanist must present his/her Macao identity card at the on-site Registration Desk.
