Guidelines for Application of Subsidies

Introduction

The Macao Special Administrative Region (Macao S.A.R.) Government, through the Cultural Institute, provides subsidies to various Macao local cultural associations. The purpose is to enable them to initiate activities such as literature, art, calligraphy, photography, audio-visual, music, dancing, drama, Chinese opera and academic research. The active participation of these local cultural associations through their collective wisdom will foster a development of cultural events. Such development will also enrich the cultural life of citizens, strengthen its cultural exchange with other countries and enhance the cultural image of Macao.
