Content: As the proverb goes, “bread is the staff of life”. We all know that food is the basic need that supports life. When Chinese people like to express their feelings through the description of an object, Chinese writers love to describe the details of a banquet in their writings, and from these common scenes try to reflect the history of the time, to depict a person, or to express their thoughts about the cultural status. Novelist Ge Liang, an addict to this traditional way of writing, will share his thoughts with the readers by reading his book Paper Hawk.
