Government will hold a “Joint Exhibition of Modern Ceramic in Macao and Hong
Kong”. Ceramic lovers are invited to submit entries from August 29 to 31.
Selected works will be on display at the Tap Seac Gallery in 2006.
The “Joint Exhibition of Modern Ceramic in Macao and Hong Kong” will display the
latest works of 15 ceramic lovers from Macao and Hong Kong. The exhibition is
aimed at enhancing the exchange of ceramic art between Hong Kong and Macao and
to promote visual thinking and technique innovation so as to raise the standard
of ceramic creation. In order to further discover local talents in ceramic art,
quota has been granted for local ceramic lovers and selected works will be on
Submitted works must be on display for the first time. Each participant may
submit no more than two works. There is no limitation on the way of
presentation. The work should not exceed a demonstration space of four square
metres (or product length not exceeding 3 metres) and the height should be
within 2 metres. The amount of potter’s clay or porcelain clay used should be
over 60% of the whole work.
