Museum, “The City’s Skin – Feasibility Research for Contemporary Metropolis
Image" exhibition will accept entries until July 30.
"The City's Skin" Exhibition is directed by Mr. Wu Hung, chief editor of
arts.tom.com, and Mr. Lu Hung, director of the Research Department of Shenzhen
Art Museum. This exhibition displays a large variety of artworks – from
traditional exhibits to huge electronic billboards, street signs, lamp boxes,
road surfaces, as well as all sorts of information carrier from the Internet.
The exhibition will be held in the Tap Seac Gallery from December 2 this year to
January 15 next year and in the Shenzhen Art Museum from 5 March to 5 April
2006. After the exhibition, part of the exhibits will be received by the
Shenzhen Art Museum as permanent collections.
Local artists interested in joining the exhibition may submit to the Cultural
Events Department of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (Rua do Campo, No: 78, Edifício
Comercial Chung Kin, 8-A) before July 30 their exhibition information, including
personal CV and photo, slide films of the work and a written description on the
ideas of creation (the above information can be submitted in soft copy. It is
not necessary to submit the original piece of work. Detailed information is
