“Love is Immortal” is the title of the concert the Macao Orchestra is proposing to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The concert will be held on 14 February (Monday), at 8pm, at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium.
This concert aims at sharing a broad spectrum of classical opera arias other love songs with the public. “Love is Immortal” features arias chosen from famous operas such as Carmen, Tosca, La Bohème and La Traviata, including the “Toreador Song”, “Recondita Armonia” and “Brindisi”, performed by renowned singers Shen Na, Wang Hongyao, Xue Haoyin and Zhang Hai Qing, under the direction of Maestro Hu Yongyan, one of the most active conductors in China. Hu has been conducting numerous world-class orchestras, and his international conducting standards, as well as his creative arrangements will certainly elevate the spirit of the orchestra. The Valentine’s Day Concert also reserves a tremendous surprise to the public.
In order to increase the festive atmosphere, the Orchestra will organize a series of interactive activities during the concert. Photo taking services will also be available at the hall. Discounts will be provided at“Akasaka Café-Cake&Bakery” and “Pin-to Livros, Pin-to Musica” upon presentation of concert tickets in a certain period.
