Distinguished soloists from Hong Kong present a night for classicism at the Macao Tower on Saturday

The Macao Orchestra is presenting the concert ‘Ultimate Classicism’ on 22 January at 8pm at the Macao Tower Auditorium. This inviting concert features distinguished violinist Wong Sze-hang, cellist Richard Bamping and pianist Warren Lee under the baton of Maestro Lü Jia. The tickets for this concert are now available at Kong Seng Ticketing Network outlets.

The programme of this concert includes a series of masterpieces from classical composers  such as Franz Schubert’s Overture in Italian Style in D Major, D. 590, Ludwig van Beethoven’s  Triple Concerto in C Major, Op. 56 and Wolfgang A. Mozart’s Symphony N0. 39 in E-flat Major, K. 543. The Macao Orchestra specially invited Hong Kong’s renowned soloists Wong Sze-hang (violin), Richard Bamping (cello) and Warren Lee (piano).

Wong Sze-hang is an experienced chamber musician, conductor as well as the founder of Hong Kong string quartet while Warren Lee, distinguished pianist of Hong Kong who is considered  an ‘extraordinarily talented’ young Hong Kong pianist, and Richard Bamping, Principal Cellist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will performL. van Beethoven’s masterpiece, the Triple Concerto in C Major, Op. 56(1888), . Music fans will -- enjoy the charming beauty of classicism in this concert. Symphony No. 39 in E-flat Major, K. 543 (1708 ) by W.A. Mozart features the joyful beat and rhythm of dance. The music is filled with the warmth and joy of  Thanksgiving even though it denotes a bit of bitterness, and a far off artistic conception.
