The 41^st Macao Young Musicians Competition, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), was successfully concluded. The Special Prizes Competition and awards ceremony was held on 13 August at the Grand Hall of Inspiration Building of the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies. On the occasion, three Special Prizes were presented by the Vice President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Cheang Kai Meng, and the Chief Executive of the Bank of China (Macau) - special supporting entity of the event, Chan Hio Peng.

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the 41^st Macao Young Musicians Competition, dedicated to the piano category, will start on 30 July (Sunday). The provisional Competition schedule will be available from 10am on 16 June at the Macao Young Musicians Competition website www.icm.gov.mo/CJMM.

The 41^st Macao Young Musicians Competition, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), dedicated to piano category, will be held from late July to mid-August. The competition repertoire and age requirements for all competition categories were published on 14 April, while the competition rules and regulations will be published on the Competition’s website at 10am on 24 May. Eligible Macao residents may register online through the application system on the Competition website (www.icm.gov.mo/cjmm) from 10am on 1 June to 4pm on 7 June. All participants must register through their personal/entity account of the “Macao One Account”. For more information about the account application, please visit the thematic website of the “Macao One Account” (www.gov.mo/app). Individuals can also authorise institutions or representative of the ensemble to submit applications on their behalf with an authorisation code generated after they log into the application system. The application system will be closed at 4pm on 7 June, after which late applications and payments will not be accepted.

The 41^st Macao Young Musicians Competition, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, dedicated to the piano category, will be held from mid-July to mid-August this year, and the competition repertoire and age requirements for all competition categories have now been announced. In order to access the online registration system of the Competition, all interested participants must register through their account of the “Macao One Account”. The “40^th Macao Young Musicians Competition”, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, was successfully concluded. The awards ceremony was held on 13 January at the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building, in which the Special Prizes were presented to the winners. This edition’s “Cultural Affairs Bureau Prize” was awarded to Ieong Hou. The Acting Vice-President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Cheang Kai Meng, presented the awards.
